Scope of Work
The improvements include rehabilitation of the Dania Beach Boulevard Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway. The contractor will install a bicycle friendly riding surface, replace sidewalk decking across bridge span, renovate the bridge control house as well as adding a second story, upgrade guardrail attachments and replace the maintenance platforms for traffic gates. The project will also include replacing the machinery, electrical, and control elements, replacing the signals, replacing the bridge-mounted sign structure and removing existing coat and re-coat bridge steel superstructure.
