Project Purpose: • Replace the existing signal mast arms. • Provide queue detection camera for Southwest Joan Jefferson Way eastbound traffic. • Reconstruct concrete curb ramps to comply with American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. • Repave and restripe the intersection. • Remove existing brick crosswalk pavers and replace with new pavement. • Upgrade the existing intersection lighting.
Construction Impacts:
• All work will be done in phases to reduce the impacts of construction on the community. • Sidewalk detours will be provided to maintain safe pedestrian access during construction. • Temporary lane closures will occur during non-peak hours to minimize impacts on traffic
