Palmetto Park Road, from State Road 7 to NW 2nd Avenue

Restrictions:

The outside eastbound lane, between Lyons Road and SW 12th Avenue, may be closed, around-the-clock, Monday through Friday, for pathway removal, slope preparation, sod placement, utility relocation (FP&L & AT&T), and sidewalk ramp improvements. Work will be done in sections, with the location of the closures shifting as needed within these zones. Please note, work is taking place in the vicinity of the bus stops at Boca Del Mar Drive (west), Beracasa Way, Toledo Road, Boca Del Mar Drive (east), Saint Andrews Boulevard, and Palmetto Square. Bus stops remain open, but for the safety of pedestrians, bus riders, and the construction crews, please remain outside the closed work zone. From Military Trail to Florida’s Turnpike, pedestrians should be using the temporary pathway as the original pathway has been fully removed.

The sidewalk on the south side of Palmetto Park Road, from SW 12th Avenue North (east of I-95), is closed completely to Military Trail (west of I-95), through May 2019, for pathway reconstruction and hand rail replacement. Pedestrians may detour via the sidewalk heading south on Military Trail, then east on Camino Real, to then north on SW 12th Avenue to continue again east from that point onto the existing pathway along Palmetto Park Road during this time. Pedestrians may also cross Palmetto Park Road and walk on the north side of the road to access the Palmetto Square Shopping Center via the existing sidewalk along the perimeter road bordering the shopping center.
