Current Construction Lane Closures in Southern Palm Beach County

I-95 from south of SW 10th Street to south of Glades Road

Restrictions:

I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday, between SW 10th Street and Glades Road, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have two lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, Sunday through Thursday. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 5:30 a.m.

Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Camino Real at I-95 will have one lane closed in each direction daily, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Full closure notice: Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will undergo a complete closure for new bridge construction, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday night, November 12 and Thursday night, November 14. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via I-95 and Hillsboro Boulevard and westbound traffic will be detoured via I-95 and Glades Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 northbound, Hillsboro Boulevard, and Military Trail. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The northbound entrance ramp from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound to Hillsboro Boulevard to I-95 northbound.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and Palmetto Park Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

The I-95 northbound exit ramp to eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Palmetto Park Road and South Dixie Highway. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please note that ramp closures will be performed as needed per nighttime construction operations; consecutive ramps will not be closed at the same time.

The northbound entrance ramp from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound to Hillsboro Boulevard to I-95 northbound.

The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard will be closed nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Military Trail and SW 10th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

I-95 from south of Glades Road to south of Linton Boulevard and SR 808/Glades Road from Renaissance Way to West University Drive in the Cities of Boca Raton and Delray Beach (95 Express Phase 3B-2)

Restrictions:

Traffic Impact: Advanced Notice: I-95 will have up to three lanes closed in each direction nightly as needed for paving, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 10 p.m., and the third lane will close at 11 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

Construction Open House/Public Meeting Advanced Notice: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a Public Meeting and Construction Open House for this project at the Spanish River Library, 1501 NW Spanish River Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL 33431 in January 2020. The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A formal presentation is scheduled at 6 p.m. with a Question & Answer Session immediately following. Members of the project team will be available to answer specific questions. No work on the Glades Road Interchange will begin until after the Public Meeting is held. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. Spanish River Boulevard Bridge Painting over the Intracoastal Waterway

Restrictions:

One westbound lane may be closed, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., with one eastbound lane closed, 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Please note, one lane will remain open in each direction during this time.

Lane closures may be needed on the access road under the bridge, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic during this time.

Advanced Notice—Nighttime full closures, Friday night, Nov. 22, and Saturday night, Nov. 23, 9 p.m. until 7 a.m., eastbound lanes only: The Spanish River Boulevard Bridge will undergo two (2) nights of full closures in the eastbound direction, 9 p.m. until 7 a.m., Friday night, Nov. 22, and Saturday night, Nov. 23, to conduct lock repair and maintenance work. During this time, the westbound lanes will remain open for westbound motorists, pedestrians, and first responders. Motorists may detour northbound to Linton Boulevard, or southbound to Palmetto Park Road. US 1 Improvements Project from George Bush Boulevard to Murano Bay Drive

Restrictions:

One lane may be closed in each direction, daily, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and nightly, 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday night through Friday. For more information, please contact Community Outreach Specialist Meredith Cruz at 561-641-6440.

Permit Work Unrelated to the Construction Project:

Traffic Impact: Southbound South Federal Highway between Southeast 21 Avenue and Southeast 27 Terrace, in Boynton Beach, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Nov. 15, 1 of 2 lanes closed, for pole placement and overhead maintenance work. For more information, please contact Raul Zamparripa 772-473-5150.


State Road 7 Resurfacing Improvements Project from Atlantic Avenue to Boynton Beach Boulevard

Restrictions:

Boynton Beach Boulevard Improvements Project from Congress Avenue to west of Jog Road

Restrictions:

The inside lane, from west of Pear Tree Circle to just east of Military Trail, will undergo an around-the-clock full closure in each direction with temporary barrier wall through November. Please note, this includes an around-the-clock full closure of the median opening at Bent Tree Drive.

The inside lane, from Winchester Park Blvd. to Knuth Rd., will undergo an around-the-clock full closure in each direction, Monday through Friday, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 22. Please note, all lanes will be open during weekends. 

Advanced notice, Median Work at Bent Tree West, Bent Tree East & Lime Tree Condominiums: Once the work west of Pear Tree Circle is completed in late November/early December, weather permitting, the eastbound and westbound inside lane at Pear Tree Circle will undergo an around-the-clock full closure through December. US 1 Improvements Project from Hypoluxo Road to Waterway Drive

Restrictions:

One northbound lane may be closed, daily, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

One southbound lane may be closed, daily, 7 a.m. until 1 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
