Scope of Work

Construct 2 lane – 2 way roadway with 5 feet paved shoulders from 26th Street to CR 510 through existing dirt road, pastures and citrus grove. Construct 3 box culverts and 1 bridge to replace existing wooden pile bridges. The proposed drainage conveying system will consist of a series of swales along both the east and west sides of the new 82nd Avenue roadway alignment. The swales will convey runoff to the proposed wet detention pond within the basin. Offsite runoff will only include the runoff from the 30 foot berm area between Lateral C Canal and proposed swale on the west side of the roadway. The design of the storm water management facilities is to address both water quality treatment and water quantity attenuation. The ponds will overflow directly into Lateral C Canal. The existing flow control structures located in the existing sub canals will be relocated to the east of the proposed roadway R/W. Existing power poles at 69th Street are to be relocated.
