Scope of Work and Project Improvements

Milling and repaving the roadway throughout the project limits to enhance infrastructure resilience and safety for the community.
Widening to provide a dedicated northbound to eastbound right-turn lane to alleviate congestion on S.R. 7/U.S. 441 at S.R. 802/Lake Worth Road.
Constructing a sidewalk along the east side of S.R. 7/U.S. 441 and upgrading ADA curb ramps along the existing sidewalk to enhance pedestrian safety.
Upgrading signing and pavement markings by adding high emphasis crosswalks and upgrading to steel strain poles with LED lighting at the signalized intersection to enhance visibility and safety.
Upgrading signalization to improve traffic operations.
Modifying the existing guardrail along the east side of S.R. 7/U.S. 441 for enhanced safety.

Work will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public.
Lane closures are permitted as follows:
- 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., daily
- 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning
Sidewalk and curb ramp closures will be implemented as needed with temporary pedestrian detours.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
