Scope of Work and Project Improvements

  • S.R. 805/U.S. 1/North Dixie Highway
    • Retrofitting and installing new LED lighting along S.R. 805/ North Dixie Highway to improve nighttime visibility and safety.
    • Removing existing light fixtures along S.R. 805/ North Dixie Highway.
    • Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalks to improve pedestrian safety and connectivity.
  • S.R. 9/I-95
    •  Replacing the existing lighting fixtures with new LED luminaires on I-95 from 12th Avenue South to 10th Avenue North to improve illumination and enhance visibility for motorists.

 

Traffic Impacts

  • S.R. 805/U.S. 1/North Dixie Highway
    • Nightly lane closures along S.R. 805/ North Dixie Highway are permitted from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
    • Sidewalk and curb ramp closures will be implemented as needed with temporary pedestrian detours.
  • S.R. 9/ I-95
    • Nightly lane closures are permitted from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on weekdays and weekends.
