Meetings

Repave and restripe the existing roadway to extend the service life of the pavement, enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists.

Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure.
Widen the roadway pavement 3 feet on both sides to provide seven-foot buffered bike lanes to better accommodate cyclists who wish to use the roadway.
Replace areas of deteriorated pavement to improve safety for motorists.
Modify curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to facilitate improved access for users with disabilities.
Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity.

Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
Flagging operations will be in place while repaving and detours will be utilized while areas of deteriorated pavement are replaced.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained during construction.
Another public meeting (Construction Open House) will be held prior to construction. Detailed information about how to keep informed of potential construction impacts will be provided at that meeting.
