Project Purpose

  • To provide safety improvements along three I-95 ramps.

Project Improvements

  • Repave and restripe the three Interstate ramps to improve the driving surface.
  • Install a high-friction surface treatment to enhance traction and improve safety.
  • Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity.

Construction Impacts

  • Construction will occur one ramp at a time.
  • Temporary traffic detours will be in place.
  • Seasonal and holiday traffic will be considered during construction.
  • Access to and from I-95 will always be maintained during construction via short term nightly detours.
  • A subsequent construction flyer will be distributed prior to the start of construction. That flyer will provide detailed information on how to remain informed about potential construction impacts.
