Project Purpose

To extend the service life of the existing pavement and widen existing flush shoulders to accommodate buffered bicycle lanes.

Project Improvements

  • Repave the existing roadway.
  • Widen the existing paved shoulders to accommodate buffered bicycle lanes.
  • Replace areas of deteriorated pavement.
  • Make improvements to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards.
  • Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity.

Construction Impacts

  • Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
  • Flagging operations will be in place during construction.
  • Detours will be utilized to replace areas of deteriorated pavement.
  • Access to businesses and residences will be maintained during construction.
