Scope of Work

  • Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure Install backplates with yellow retro-reflective borders on all signal heads to improve signal visibility for motorists Install new pedestrian pushbutton and countdown heads at Boutwell Road/Lake Osborne Drive and Akron Street to better inform pedestrians when the signal changes Reconstruct damaged sidewalks and pull boxes to make it safer for pedestrians Close the existing full-median opening at S. Buffalo Street to improve traveler safety Extend the southbound left-turn lane at Lake Osbourne Drive/Boutwell Road to improve traveler safety Convert the existing full median opening at Detroit Street to a directional median opening
