Public Meeting: <p>Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The public meeting was conducted both in-person and virtually simultaneously. The public meeting took place at the Hollywood Branch Library located at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33020. The virtual public meeting took place via GoToWebinar. Participants attended in-person or virtually. The public meeting consisted of a formal presentation followed by an open discussion. Staff was available to answer questions and provide assistance. Comments and questions were answered in the order received. Questions not answered during the event, a response will be provided in writing at a later date.</p>

Project Purpose

The Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (RRR) project will extend the service life of the pavement, enhance roadway safety, and improve operating characteristics of the corridor.

Scope of Work

  • Repave and restripe the existing roadway Upgrade pedestrian curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards Upgrade sidewalk and transit stops Upgrade signing and pavement markings Upgrade Intersection lighting, and pedestrian signals at three signalized intersections (North/South 35 Avenue, North/South Park Road, and Entrada Drive) and one signalized midblock crossing (Calle Grande Drive) within the project limits Install guardrails at approach ends of bridge (No. 860599) over the canal just west of I-95

Construction Impacts

Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community Temporary lane closures will be required during non-peak hours on non-event days Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times No detours are necessary Existing bike lane access between North Circle Drive and North Park Road will be maintained during construction
