Public Meeting: <p>The public meeting was offered virtually and in-person. The virtual public meeting took place on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. and was held via GoToWebinar. The in-person public meeting followed an open house format and took place on Thursday, March 9, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and was held at the Boynton Beach City Hall located at 100 East Ocean Avenue (Room – MR 115), Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Staff was available to answer questions and provide assistance.</p>

Project Purpose

To improve operations and safety within the interchange.

Scope of Work

  • Repaving roadway along I-95 mainline, ramps and Woolbright Road Widening I-95 off-ramps to triple left turn lanes Widening I-95 on-ramps to three receiving lanes Widening Woolbright Road within the interchange to three through lanes in both directions Widening Woolbright Road bridges over Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD) E-4 Canal, South Florida Rail Corridor (SFRC)/CSX Railroad and I-95 Providing shared use paths, sidewalks and designated bike lanes within the interchange in both directions Providing dual eastbound and westbound left turn lanes at SW 8 Street/Corporate Drive intersection Providing southbound triple left turn lanes at SW 8 Street/Corporate Drive intersection Signing and Pavement Marking, Lighting, Drainage, Signalization, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

Construction Impacts

Work will be done in phases to reduce the inconvenience to the community Lane closures, ramp closures, and detours will occur during non-peak hours to minimize impacts on traffic Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained at all times during construction
