Scope of Work

Project improvements consist of lengthening the turn lanes on 6th Avenue South.
Adding an exclusive right turn lane to the S.R. 9/I-95 northbound on ramp.
Adding an additional right turn lane to the SR.. 9/I-95 southbound on ramp.
Lengthening the northbound left turn lane at A Street.
Constructing 6-foot sidewalks on both sides of 6th Avenue South
Constructing 7-foot bicycle lanes on both sides of 6th Avenue South.
Installing Wrong-Way Driving Countermeasures on the S.R. 9/I-95 northbound and southbound exit ramps.
Constructing 16-foot ground-mounted sound walls along the SR 9/I-95 northbound exit ramp and south side of 6th Avenue South.
Constructing new gravity wall, curb and gutter, traffic separator, median barrier, sidewalk and driveway along 6th Avenue South within project limits.
Upgrading drainage, signage, lighting, signalization and pavement markings, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) upgrades.
Relocation of water, sewer and utilities for the City of Lake Worth Beach.
