Scope of Work and Project Improvements

  • Replacing the catwalk structural beams to extend the longevity of the bridge.
  • Upgrading the concrete piles to improve the structural integrity of the bridge.

 

Traffic Impacts

  • Work will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public.
  • Single-lane closures are permitted Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for equipment delivery.
  • Impacts to the navigable channel will be clearly marked. Half of the channel will remain fully open at all times.
  • Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
