Scope of Work and Project Improvements

Replacing the old deck with a new solid surface aluminum deck.
Painting the structural steel.
Replacing electrical components and wiring.
Replacing the mechanical span locks, which connect the two leaves of the movable bridge deck when the bridge is in the “down” position.
Replacing the existing navigation/marine fenders in the waterway, including replacement of the timber piles and support beams.
Renovating the bridge tender house.
Minor repaving of the roadway at ends of the bridge.
