Scope of Work and Project Improvements

Milling and resurfacing of S.R. A1A/NE Ocean Boulevard to extend the service life of the road to provide long term resiliency
Installing new drainage structures to improve stormwater management
Widening the shoulders to increase width to five-feet at select locations
Upgrading the existing lighting at the Jensen Beach Causeway roundabout
Upgrading of pedestrian curb ramps to comply with American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for improved safety and connectivity
Installation of traffic calming measures and speed feedback signs

Single lane closures on northbound and southbound S.R. A1A/NE Ocean Boulevard closures are permitted as needed, seven days a week, from NE Shore Village Terrace to South of S.R. 732/Jensen Beach Causeway
Speed limits will be reduced to 35 mph within work zones
Pedestrian detours are anticipated at various locations
