State Road (S.R.) 7/U.S. 441 Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (RRR) Project

Project Improvements:

• Milling and repaving the existing roadway throughout the project limits to enhance infrastructure resilience and improve safety for the community.
• Restriping the roadway to provide seven-foot-wide bicycle lanes throughout the project limits to enhance cyclist safety.
• Constructing a new six-foot-wide sidewalk along the east side of S.R. 7/U.S. 441 from the West Boca Plaza to Kimberly Boulevard to enhance pedestrian accessibility.
• Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk to enhance safety and connectivity for pedestrians.
• Upgrading pedestrian signals with new LED countdown timers at Kimberly Boulevard, New England Boulevard, C.R. 794/Yamato Road, Boca Chase Drive/Boca Gardens Parkway, and Clint Moore Road to enhance pedestrian accessibility.
• Upgrading lighting for pedestrian crosswalks at all signalized intersections for pedestrian and motorist safety.
• Upgrading signage and pavement markings, including installing green bicycle markings at right turn lanes, to enhance visibility and safety.
