Scope of Work

Project improvements consist of milling and resurfacing the existing roadway within the project limits to ensure long-term infrastructure resilience.
Constructing a signalized mid-block pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of SW 16th Street to enhance safety and connectivity for pedestrians.
Upgrading concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, pavement markings, and signage to improve visibility and accessibility.
Improving pedestrian signals at the intersection of SW 54th Court to enhance pushbutton accessibility, installing new and replacing existing light poles with LED fixtures throughout the project limits to improve safety and enhance nighttime visibility.
Installing concrete barrier walls south of Orange Drive adjacent to canal C-11 to enhance safety.
