Scope of Work

The project improvements include milling and repaving the roadway throughout the project limits to enhance infrastructure resilience and improve safety for the community.
Widening the roadway and the C-51 canal bridge to accommodate dual right-turn lanes along northbound and southbound S.R. 7/U.S. 441, triple left-turn lanes along the eastbound and westbound S.R. 80/Southern Boulevard ramps, and dual right-turn lanes along the eastbound and westbound S.R. 80/Southern Boulevard ramps to improve traffic flow and capacity.
Reconstructing and signalizing the U-turns at the eastbound and westbound S.R. 80/Southern Boulevard ramps to enhance vehicular safety.
Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk to improve pedestrian safety and connectivity.
Constructing new traffic signal mast arms to accommodate the turn lanes along S.R. 7/U.S. 441 and the S.R. 80/Southern Boulevard ramps
Upgrading pedestrian signals with new LED countdowns at intersections throughout the project corridor to enhance pedestrian use.
Retrofitting and installing new LED lighting to improve motorist awareness and pedestrian visibility at night.
Upgrading signage and pavement markings, including installing green bicycle markings, to enhance visibility and safety.
