State Road (S.R.) 806/Atlantic Avenue and Homewood Boulevard Intersection and S.R. 704/Okeechobee Boulevard and Haverhill Road Intersection Improvements Project

Project Improvements:

• Replacing existing traffic signals with mast arms at each intersection to improve infrastructure resiliency and enhance motorist safety.
• Extending the eastbound and westbound left turn lanes from SR 806/Atlantic Avenue to Homewood Boulevard and High Point Boulevard to improve traffic flow.
• Extending the eastbound left turn lane from SR 704/Okeechobee Boulevard to N Haverhill Road to improve traffic flow.
• Upgrading pedestrian signals with new LED countdown timers to enhance pedestrian use.
• Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk throughout the project limits to enhance pedestrian safety and connectivity.
• Installing new LED lighting at the SR 806/Atlantic Avenue and Homewood Boulevard intersection to improve nighttime visibility for all roadway users.
• Repaving and minor widening along Homewood Boulevard to improve bicycle and roadway facilities.
