Scope of Work and Project Improvements

Replacing existing traffic signals with mast arms at each intersection to improve infrastructure resiliency and enhance motorist safety.
Extending the eastbound and westbound left turn lanes from SR 806/Atlantic Avenue to Homewood Boulevard and High Point Boulevard to improve traffic flow.
Extending the eastbound left turn lane from SR 704/Okeechobee Boulevard to N Haverhill Road to improve traffic flow.
Upgrading pedestrian signals with new LED countdown timers to enhance pedestrian use.
Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk throughout the project limits to enhance pedestrian safety and connectivity.
Installing new LED lighting at the SR 806/Atlantic Avenue and Homewood Boulevard intersection to improve nighttime visibility for all roadway users.
Repaving and minor widening along Homewood Boulevard to improve bicycle and roadway facilities.

Work will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public.
Lane closures are permitted nightly from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
Sidewalk and curb ramp closures will be implemented as needed with temporary pedestrian detours.
