Scope of Work

  • Project improvements consist of milling and resurfacing the roadway within the project limits to ensure long-term pavement resilience.
  • Minor widening of the northbound S.R. 9/I-95 ramp to eastbound S.R. 862/I-595 to improve safety.
  • Installing Dynamic Curve Warning and Wet Roadway Information Systems at the northbound S.R. 9/I-95 ramp to westbound S.R. 862/I-595 to enhance safety.
  • Constructing new guardrail along both sides of the northbound S.R. 9/I-95 ramp to eastbound S.R. 862/I-595 to enhance safety.
  • Installing new light poles with LED fixtures along the northbound S.R. 9/I-95 ramp to westbound S.R. 862/I-595 to improve nighttime visibility and safety.
  • Upgrading signage and pavement marking throughout increase nighttime visibility.
