Scope of Work and Project Improvements

 

  • The project improvements include milling and resurfacing the roadway within project limits to ensure long-term resilience.
  • Installing guardrail within project limits to enhance safety.
  • Upgrading signing and pavement markings within the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility.

Traffic Impacts

  • Single lane closures along SR 93/I-75 are permitted Sundays at 9:00
    p.m. until Fridays at 6:00 p.m.
  • Extended single lane closures at bridge locations are permitted, as
    needed, for guardrail replacement.
  •  Single ramp closures at the Snake Road interchange will be required
    for milling and resurfacing the off and on ramps. This operation will be
    scheduled from 9:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday and/or Saturday
    nights. Detours will be in place to direct motorists and advanced notice
    will be provided.
  •  Access to rest areas and boat ramps may be temporarily closed, as
    needed, during nighttime paving operations. Closures will be restricted
    to one ramp at a time.
