Scope of Work and Project Improvements

Project improvements consist of widening the S.R. 93/I-75 mainline to add an additional lane and enhance entry and exit movements.
Widening the S.R. 93/I-75 exit and entrance ramps at Royal Palm Boulevard and S.R. 818/Griffin Road to increase storage capacity and enhance traffic flow.
Widening the SR 93/I-75 bridge over the C-11 Canal to support the S.R. 93/I-75 mainline expansion and enhance traffic flow.
Installing Wrong-Way Driver Detection Systems at key locations to enhance safety: southbound S.R. 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound Royal Palm Boulevard, northbound SR 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound Royal Palm Boulevard, and northbound S.R. 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound S.R. 818/Griffin Road.
Milling and resurfacing the roadway within the project limits to ensure long-term infrastructure resilience.
Upgrading signing and pavement markings within the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility
Upgrading existing light poles with new LED fixtures and installing additional poles throughout the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility.
