Scope of Work

  • Project improvements consist of widening the S.R. 93/I-75 mainline to add an additional lane and enhance entry and exit movements.
  • Widening the S.R. 93/I-75 exit and entrance ramps at Royal Palm Boulevard and S.R. 818/Griffin Road to increase storage capacity and enhance traffic flow.
  • Widening the SR 93/I-75 bridge over the C-11 Canal to support the S.R. 93/I-75 mainline expansion and enhance traffic flow.
  • Installing Wrong-Way Driver Detection Systems at key locations to enhance safety: southbound S.R. 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound Royal Palm Boulevard, northbound SR 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound Royal Palm Boulevard, and northbound S.R. 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound S.R. 818/Griffin Road.
  • Milling and resurfacing the roadway within the project limits to ensure long-term infrastructure resilience.
  • Upgrading signing and pavement markings within the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility
  • Upgrading existing light poles with new LED fixtures and installing additional poles throughout the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility.
