Scope of Work and Project Improvements

  • Installing new LED lighting for nighttime visibility and safety.
  • Installing backplates with yellow retro-reflective borders on all traffic signal heads to improve visibility for motorists.
  • Upgrading signage and pavement markings to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
  • Milling and repaving the existing intersections to improve long-term infrastructure resiliency.
  • Adding ADA curb ramps at the S.R. 882/Forest Hill Boulevard and Haverhill Road intersection for pedestrian use.

Traffic Impacts

  • Work will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public.
  • Nighttime lane closures along the intersections are as follows:

S.R. 704/Okeechobee Boulevard

  • Single lane closures are permitted Sunday night through Friday morning, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

S.R. 882/Forest Hill Boulevard 

  • Lane closures are allowed Sunday night through Friday morning, from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
  • Northbound Haverhill Road: Single lane closures from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • Southbound Haverhill Road: Single lane closures from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
  • Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
