Within the project limits the existing SR 15 is a north/south, two‐lane two-way undivided urban minor and rural arterial, context classification C2 and C3R, with two 12-foot travel lanes and for the most part 4-foot paved shoulders on both sides with design speeds of 50 mph and 55 mph, and with posted speed limits of 35 mph, 45 mph and 55 mph.
The project portion of SR 15 includes three distinct typical sections. The first section is two‐lane two-way suburban residential undivided urban minor arterial, context classification C3R located from MP 19.528 to MP 19.932 and consists of two 12-foot travel lanes, 5-foot bike lane and 7-foot parking lane along the east side and 4-foot to 16-foot paved shoulder along the west side. There is existing curb and gutter from MP 19.528 to MP 19.892 and a flush shoulder from MP 19.892 to MP 19.932.
The second section is two‐lane two-way undivided urban minor arterial, context classification C2 located from MP 19.932 to MP 21.306 (Ammons Road) and consists of two 12-foot travel lanes, 8-foot shoulder (7-foot paved) at the east side and 12-foot shoulder (7-foot paved) at the west side along SR 15. There will be 6-foot sidewalk proposed along the east side from MP 19.892 to MP 20.024 and 5-foot sidewalk proposed along east side from MP 20.024 to MP 21.306.
The third section, which covers the majority of the project, begins from MP 21.306 and ends at MP 26.288. This section is two‐lane two-way undivided rural minor arterial, context classification C2 which consists of two 12-foot travel lanes and two 12-foot shoulders (7-foot paved) on both side of SR 15.

Scope of Work:
Repave the existing travel lanes.
Widen roadway shoulders.
Construct sidewalk from North of 3rd Street to Ammons Road.
Install roadway lighting from North of 3rd Street to Ammons Road.
Install new pavement markings.
Construction Impacts:
Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will occur.
All work will be done in phases to reduce the impact of construction to the community.
There will be no complete road closures.
Access to adjacent properties will be maintained at all times.
