Scope of Work

  • Milling and repaving the roadway, including overbuild throughout the project limits to enhance infrastructure resilience and improve safety for the community.
  • Widening 2-feet to 5-feet in both directions to accommodate 5-foot designated bicycle lanes in each direction to enhance bicyclist accessibility and safety.
  • Upgrading pedestrian signals with new LED countdowns at the intersection of S.R. A1A/South Ocean Boulevard and S.R. 802/Lake Avenue to enhance pedestrian accessibility.
  • Installing a new traffic signal mast arm at the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course and a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at Phipps Ocean Park to improve pedestrian safety.
  • Retrofitting and installing new decorative lighting at the intersection of S.R. A1A/South Ocean Boulevard and S.R. 802/Lake Avenue, the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course, and Phipps Ocean Park to enhance motorist awareness and pedestrian visibility at night.
  • Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk, including replacing the asphalt sidewalk with concrete along the west side of S.R. A1A/South Ocean Boulevard, to improve pedestrian safety and connectivity.
  • Regrading swales for enhanced drainage capacity.
  • Upgrading signage and pavement markings, including installing green bicycle markings at the intersection of S.R. A1A/South Ocean Boulevard and S.R. 802/Lake Avenue to enhance visibility and safety.
