• The meeting was held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 5:30 p.m.

• In-Person Location: Compass Community Center, Alfred Fiandaca Ballroom, 201 North Dixie Highway, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460. This meeting will have an informal open house format. The latest social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Projected Letting: December 1, 2023

Start Date: Spring 2024

Completion Date: Fall 2025

Estimated Construction Cost: $1.5 million

Scope of Work:

• Repaving the existing roadway
• Installing pedestrian countdown signal features at signalized intersections
• Installing two mid-block crosswalks one each at 8th Avenue South and 3rd Avenue North
• Raising the intersection at 7th Avenue South
• Raising the crosswalk between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North
• Reconstructing substandard sidewalk curb ramps
• Upgrading lighting to better illuminate pedestrian crosswalks at 6th Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North
• Retrofitting lighting at 6th Avenue South and 2nd Avenue North
• Upgrading signing and pavement markings

Construction Impacts:

• The existing number of travel lanes will be maintained at peak traffic periods.
• Temporary detours will be implemented for construction of raised intersection and raised crosswalks.
• Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
