Scope of Work: Installing flashing beacons, wrong-way signage, and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices at 23 exit ramps to enhance safety by detecting wrong-way drivers and preventing serious injury crashes on the State Highway System; integrating the wrong-way driving detecting system/ITS with the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) to aid in alerting motorists and notifying law enforcement; and upgrading wrong-way signage and pavement markings to preserve the service life of the road and enhance visibility.
