Scope of Work:
- Repave and restripe the existing roadway within the project limits
- Upgrade non-compliant Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramps along the existing sidewalk
- Replace traffic signal mast arms at NW 2nd Avenue
- Upgrade roadway lighting to illuminate pedestrian crosswalks at NW 2nd Avenue and N. Dixie Highway
- Upgrade pedestrian signal heads with new LED countdown signals at NW 2nd Avenue and N. Dixie Highway
- Upgrade signage and pavement markings
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction to the community
- Temporary lane closures to build the improvements will be completed during non-peak hours
- Night work will be allowed
- Pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times
- Access to properties adjacent to the corridor will be maintained during construction
