Scope of Work:
The project improvements consist of milling and repaving the existing roadway within the project limits to ensure long-term infrastructure resilience and safety. It also includes upgrading signage and pavement markings, including bicycle markings, to enhance visibility and safety for both motorists and cyclists. Upgrading curb ramps and replacing sections of the existing sidewalk within the project limits to enhance pedestrian safety and connectivity. Additionally, the project includes upgrading pedestrian signals at SR A1A/North Ocean Boulevard and installing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB’s) at the NE 6th Street crosswalk to enhance pedestrian safety. Lastly, the project involves installing LED lighting at NE 6th Street and at SR A1A/North Ocean Boulevard to enhance pedestrian safety and visibility.
