The project improvements consist of constructing a prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge on the west side of North Shore Drive crossing the Carver Canal, realigning the pedestrian sidewalk path on the west side of North Shore Bridge to the new pedestrian bridge, reconstructing drainage outfalls along the north and south sides of the newly constructed pedestrian bridge, replacing and upgrading signage impacted by construction, and adding lighting at each side of the new pedestrian bridge.
