Scope of Work:
The project improvements consist of milling and repaving the existing roadway within the project limits to enhance long-term infrastructure resiliency; upgrading curb ramps and replacing select sidewalk sections of the existing sidewalk to enhance pedestrian safety; replacing traffic signal mast arms at NW 2nd Avenue to improve infrastructure resiliency and motorist safety; upgrading roadway lighting and installing new LED countdown pedestrian signal heads at NW 2nd Avenue and Dixie Highway to improve pedestrian safety at crosswalks; and upgrading signage and pavement markings to enhance visibility and motorist safety.
