Project Purpose:
- To enhance safety by updating the current lighting to standards. This will require a
combination of retrofitting the existing decorative lighting system with LED and
constructing new FPL decorative lighting.
Project Improvements:
- Replace the existing decorative lighting system via a combination of installing new FPL
decorative light poles and retrofitting existing lighting fixtures with new light emitting
diode (LED) lights throughout the corridor.
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the inconvenience to the community.
- Lane closures will occur one lane at a time during non-peak hours to minimize impacts on traffic.
- No full roadway closures are anticipated.
