Scope of WorkThe improvements on the US 1/SR 5 project, from south of SR 716 to Rio Mar Drive include: milling and resurfacing the existing roadway; restriping to provide 6‐foot buffered bicycle lanes; upgrading pedestrian signals, detectors and lighting at signalized intersections; and upgrading sidewalk and curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

The improvements on US 1/SR 5 at SR 70 include: widening the existing roadway in the NW corner of the intersection to accommodate a southbound right-turn lane; relocating the existing Treasure Coast Connector Plus bus stop shelter and its amenities; and installing ADA compliant curb ramps and lighting improvements.
