Scope of Work:
Repave all travel lanes
Widen the paved shoulder to 7 feet
Construct sidewalk (varying from 6 to 12 feet in width) along the east side of the road from Hibiscus Road to North Road
Upgrade all non-compliant Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramps along existing sidewalks
Construction Impacts:
Work will be done in phases during non-peak hours
Traffic will be maintained at all times with flagging operations
Access to businesses, residential properties, and Lakewood Regional Park will be maintained at all times during construction
Public Notice: The design Public Information Meeting will be offered in two formats: virtual and in-person. The virtual public meeting will include a formal presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. The in-person public meeting will be held in an open house format with no formal presentation.
Virtual: Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
In-Person: The in-person public meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lakewood Park Branch Library located at 7605 Santa Barbara Drive, Fort Pierce, Florida 34951.
