Scope of Work:
Construct sidewalks along both sides of the roadway where missing, from N Dixie Highway to NE 12th Terrace and from NE 18th Avenue to US/1 Federal Highway
Mill and resurface roadway where new sidewalk is being constructed
Include curb ramps, detectable warning pads in accordance with American with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Modify drainage to accommodate sidewalk
Signing and pavement markings
Improve pedestrian signalization and lighting at the intersection of SR-5/US-1
Construction Impacts:
Work will be done in phases to reduce the impacts of construction in the community.
No nighttime work will be done in the residential areas
Area: E of NE 18th Avenue to NE 20th Avenue
Temporary lane closures will be required during daytime hours
Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at a
