Scope of Work: Project improvements consist of widening the S.R. 93/I-75 mainline to add an additional lane and enhance entry and exit movements; widening the S.R. 93/I-75 exit and entrance ramps at Royal Palm Boulevard and S.R. 818/Griffin Road to increase storage capacity and enhance traffic flow; widening the SR 93/I-75 bridge over the C-11 Canal to support the S.R. 93/I-75 mainline expansion and enhance traffic flow; installing Wrong-Way Driver Detection Systems at key locations to enhance safety: southbound S.R. 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound Royal Palm Boulevard, northbound SR 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound Royal Palm Boulevard, and northbound S.R. 93/I-75 exit ramp to westbound S.R. 818/Griffin Road; milling and resurfacing the roadway within the project limits to ensure long-term infrastructure resilience; upgrading signing and pavement markings within the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility; and upgrading existing light poles with new LED fixtures and installing additional poles throughout the project limits to enhance nighttime visibility.
