A Hybrid Public Meeting Was Held On: Wednesday, December 8, 2021, and was offered in two different formats: virtual and in-person.
he virtual (online) public meeting took place from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and consisted of a formal presentation followed by an open discussion.
The in-person public meeting took place from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, following an open house format and was held at the Hampton Inn Cypress Creek located at 720 East Cypress Creek Road, Ft Lauderdale, Florida 33334. The latest social distancing guidelines were followed.

Scope of Work:
- Modify the existing median opening at the intersection of SR 5/US-1 and Imperial Point Access Road to a bi-directional opening, to restrict left turn movements from the side streets onto SR 5/US-1
- Construct a new traffic and pedestrian signal system to facilitate controlled pedestrian crossings north and south of SR 5/US-1
- Relocate a bus shelter
- Construct pedestrian curb ramps and crosswalks to accommodate pedestrians
Construction Impacts:
- Temporary lane closures will be needed during off-peak hours
- Access to adjacent properties will be maintained at all times
