Scope of Work:

Accommodate bicycle lanes by resurfacing and widening the existing roadway
Construct incidental drainage due to the proposed widening
Construct curb and gutter and sidewalks
Upgrade curb ramps to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards
Construct bus shelters at existing bus stop locations
Construct a new pedestrian bridge near the intersection of Miramar Boulevard, over the South Broward Drainage District (SBDD) Canal No. 1
Upgrade signing and pavement markings
Upgrade three signalized intersections to pedestrian countdown signals:

Replace light poles impacted by proposed widening and improve lighting uniformity levels on the sidewalk, including pedestrian lighting retrofit at the signalized intersections of:

Construction Impacts:

Resurfacing will be performed at night
Work will be phased to reduce impacts to the community
Lane closures are anticipated; however, no full roadway closure will be required
