Scope of Work:
- Replacement of the existing bridge paint/coating
- Placement of a waterproofing surface on the bridge concrete deck
- Cleaning and coating the movable span piers, concrete curbs and barriers
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the impacts on the community. Access to all businesses and properties will remain open during construction.
- Parking areas below bridges will not be impacted.
- Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will be necessary to set-up permanent lane shifts only.
- Full bridge closures will occur at night (one bridge at a time) and detours will be provided to Las Olas Boulevard. Closures will not occur on Friday or Saturday nights or during special events.
- Marine vessel traffic will be maintained at all time with possible closure on half the channel during bridge painting operations.
