Scope of Work:
Construct a traffic circle (roundabout) at the intersection of SW 148th St and Bass Creek Rd. Construct a multi-use-path on the east side of SW 148th St from Coral Cove Elementary School to Bass Creek Rd.
Existing closed drainage system to remain. New French Drain for proposed improvements.
Several palm trees, sod, and shrubs are proposed.
Lighting roadway surface within the circulatory roadway.
Two flashing beacons with solar panel for advanced warning.
Designated bike lane pavement markings.
The existing typical along SW 148th St is two lane undivided (12’ wide lanes) and the proposed typical section along is two lanes undivided with a merge lane southbound and a multi-use path northbound.
