Scope of Work:
- Bridge concrete deck replacement in various locations on westbound lanes
- Concrete restoration of bridge foundation structure including footers, piers, and pile caps.
- Bridge joint repairs
Construction Impacts:
- Bridge will remain open to traffic during the construction
- Westbound Bridge closure is required for 3 months
- Westbound Bridge traffic will be detoured to Eastbound Bridge—one lane in each direction.
- Phil Foster Park to remain open; however, the beach area under east end of bridge will be closed during deck replacement
- Channel will remain open to marine traffic for the duration of construction
