Scope of Work:

Project improvements include milling and repaving the existing roadway to ensure long-term resilience; restriping the roadway to provide 11-foot lanes and 6-foot bike lanes in each direction of SR 5/US 1 within the project limits for motorist and bicyclist safety; restriping the C-15 Canal bridge lanes to provide a 4-foot bike lane in each direction for bicyclist safety; upgrading curb ramps for pedestrian safety; upgrading pedestrian signals at Lindell Boulevard and Tropic Boulevard to new LED countdown signals to enhance pedestrian safety; upgrading the existing streetlights to LED fixtures at the intersections of Lindell Boulevard and Tropic Boulevard for longevity, efficiency, and pedestrian safety; and upgrading signage and pavement markings to enhance motorist safety.
