Scope of Work:
The City of Boca Raton, as Project Sponsor, requested that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four design and construct the City’s NE 5th Avenue Sidewalk Project, through application to the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency and City of Boca Raton resolution 146-2017. This project was part of the Pedestrian Network contained in the City of Boca Raton’s Comprehensive Plan. Work included concrete sidewalk installation, driveway and curb & gutter replacement to align with new sidewalk installation, minor signage and pavement marking upgrades, and minor landscaping relocation and irrigation repairs.
