Project Purpose: This safety intersection improvement project will resurface the asphalt pavement and improve lighting and safety at the intersection.

Estimated Construction Cost: $800k
Scope of Work:
- Increase the lighting at pedestrian crosswalks at the signalized intersection to make pedestrians more visible to drivers, improving safety.
- Install backplates with yellow retro-reflective borders on all signal heads to improve signal visibility for motorists.
- Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity.
- Repave the existing intersection to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure.
- Modify curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to facilitate improved access for users with disabilities.
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
- Temporary lane closures will be required during construction. Lane closures will be performed at off-peak hours.
- Access to properties will be maintained during construction.
- Temporary pedestrian paths and detours will be provided for work impacting existing sidewalks.
