Scope of Work:
- Replace the existing High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) roadway lighting with light-emitting diode (LED) roadway lighting, along the I-95 mainline
- Install a Road Weather Information System (RWIS) for southbound traffic approaching Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
- Install barrier delineators along the existing concrete median barrier walls.
Scope of Work:
- Temporary lane closures will occur during non-peak travel hours. Single-lane mainline (in both directions) and single-lane ramp closures will occur between 8:00 PM and 5:30 AM. Double-lane mainline closures will occur between 9:30 PM and 5:30 AM for northbound I-95, and between 10:30 PM and 5:30 AM for southbound I-95. Ramps will remain operational and only be partially closed (1 of 2 lanes). Proposed lane closures shall only occur on Sunday through Thursday nights.
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
Phase I: Construct lighting improvements along I-95 mainline median, and install barrier delineators.
Phase II: Construct lighting improvements along I-95 outside lane and ramps, and install Road Weather Information System (RWIS).
