Scope of Work:
- Repaving and restriping the existing roadway
- Widening the traffic lanes from 11 feet to 12 feet on both sides of SR-729
- Widening the shoulders from 6 feet to up to 10 feet on both sides of SR-729 where there is available space in the existing right of way
- Reconstructing sidewalk impacted by construction
- Replacing and upgrading of signage impacted by construction
- Adding lighting along corridor
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the inconvenience to the community.
- Phase 1 – Will consist of repaving and widening south of Larrimore Road. Through traffic will be detoured along SR-15/US-441 and Larrimore Road.
- Phase 2 - Will consist of repaving and widening north of Larrimore Road. Through traffic will be detoured along SR-15/US-441 and Larrimore Road.
- Access to residents and businesses will be maintained in one direction during construction.
