Scope of Work:

  • Repave SR 804/ Boynton Beach Boulevard from SR 7/ US 441 to Lyons Road
  • Widen bicycle lanes to 6-foot from 4-foot
  • Construct sidewalk on eastbound direction to fill the gap East of SR 7 over the E-1 Canal to enhance pedestrian connectivity
  • Widen and repair sidewalk that meanders in front of Bethesda Hospital to 10-foot from 5-foot
  • Upgrade curb cut ramps that are not compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Upgrade signing and pavement markings
  • Upgrade guardrail connections to the existing bridge

Construction Impacts:

  • Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction to the community
  • Temporary lane closures to build improvements will be completed during non-peak hours
  • Repaving and restriping will be performed during nighttime
  • Pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times
  • Access to properties adjacent to the corridor will always be maintained during construction
