Purpose of Project: Repave and restripe the pavement along northbound and southbound SR 9/I-95 to extend the service life and enhance safety.

Scope of Work:
- Mill and resurface the existing pavement along northbound and southbound SR 9/I-95 and the on-off ramps at the Midway Road interchange.
- Upgrade the signing and pavement markings along northbound and southbound SR 9/I-95 and on-off ramps.
- Install two (2) new cantilever sign structures at the Midway Road off-ramps.
- Adding three (3) new ITS camera poles to address blind spots along curves to enhance safety.
- Replace vehicle detection loops and sensors for Traffic Monitoring Site (TMS).

TURNPIKE
Construction Impacts:
- At least one through lane will remain open in all directions at all times.
- All work will be done in phases to reduce impacts of construction on the community.
- The work zone speed shall match the existing posted speed for SR 9/I-95 and ramps at the Midway Road Interchange.
- Single lane SR 9/I-95 and ramp closures will be limited to the hours of Sunday thru Thursday, 7:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
- Double lane northbound SR 9/I-95 and ramp closure will be limited to the hours of Sunday thru Thursday from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- Double lane southbound SR 9/I-95 and ramp closures will be limited to the hours of Sunday thru Thursday from 8:30 pm to 6:30 am.
- Detours will only occur at one ramp at a time during the lane closures.
